Wow... this is so true! I can't believe it's from 1991 and we STILL can't get it that they just want to love someone and to grow old with someone.

I agree with @XDaemonessX - it is SO simple and people just don't get it...I hope that my children grow up in a world where equality is natural ( but I guess they wont as I even know people in my age (I'm 20) who still "find it strange")

And, Jeebus do I feel old. I read 1991 and thought, "Oh that wasn't too long ago...." and then I read, "almost 20 years ago," and I was like, "Christ. I'm 2 decades old." I guess I can't talk though, since you're older than me :x

Oh man, The Golden Girls. I miss 90s comedy; good and dry, very deadpan but still wholesome.
It's such a simple and obvious concept. It's awful the level of hatred people are still demonstrating over something so arbitrary.
